Kevin graduated with his A&P from Glendale College in 1976 and started his first job with Al Demaro at Aircraft Carburetor Company in 1977. For the next 30 years Kevin progressively moved his way through the Aircraft Fuel Component industry working for Bendix, Allied Signal and Honeywell. As a result, Kevin’s professional experience ranges from small float carburetors to Turbine Fuel Controls. In 2005 Kevin was asked to come work at Airmotive Carburetor. At night Kevin would drive down from Santa Clarita and build carburetors late into the night in order to help Kay maintain her business. During this time Kevin invited his son to come work with him. The nights building carbs soon turned into over a year. When Kay fell ill and the business was closed, Kevin and Jason decided to open up a shop that would carry on the name AIRMOTIVE. Since 2009, KPS Airmotive has been the premier shop for any and all aircraft carburetor needs.
